Mountain lions?

How concerned should I be about mountain lions in hikes around LA? I know there used to be one that roamed here but died. Recently one was captured and released in Santa Monica. I hike a lot at sunset or early in the morning everywhere from Griffith to Malibu to Tongva to Angeles national forest and I’ve heard mixed things.

Obviously rattle snakes are more of a concern, especially this year, but I’m randomly paranoid about getting jumped.
