Is there a name for the trope where a supporting character busts in (usually at night) to the main character's room to give crucial information at a comedically bad time?

I can't exactly recall when I saw this or where, but I seem to recall that there is a trope where the main character is either sleeping, or with a romantic interest, or doing something that requires delicacy, and then a supporting character bursts into the room to wake them up/interrupt them. The supporting character then is apologetic, but it's too late, and the main character has to get up and deal with the problem. I think sometimes the supporting character's "problem" isn't really one at all; the main meat of the trope is the sudden butt-in at an unexpected time.
