Last day for online mode and what if...?

So we've reached the end of online version with a few more passing hours today.

I log on and find that one of my fighters have been captured- which made me wonder...

What if the capture extends beyond the threshold of switching to offline mode? Do I lose my fighter forever?

Seriously guys, you 115's really don't need to test this question by capturing our lower ranked fighters. Can you please release before the offline hits? TIA
