Launched fundedstartupsdaily here in July as a free daily feed of newly funded startups with founder contacts and outreach angles per raise. 3 months in, sharing what's happened.

What worked: launching before it was polished, picking a niche crunchbase doesnt fill (approach angles, not raw funding data), and monetizing via sponsorship not paywall. The audience is other founders + BDR teams who dont want another SaaS bill.

What surprised me: sales/BDR teams find it faster than founders do. The approach angles for each raise take way longer to write than the funding scrape, probably 70% of the manual work. And SEO from just the raise data alone brings meaningful traffic. Now at 820 raises tracked, updated daily.

What's next: mobile view just got a proper overhaul (was breaking on phones), thinking about email digest with stage/industry filters, and considering an API for teams who want the data pulled into their CRM.
