359 people voted, and **“Ban Resealed or Not posts”** received the most votes with **147 votes (40.9%)**.

After reading the comments, though, it was clear that some of you didn’t want a blanket ban, and gave good concession options. Instead, we’re taking the best ideas from several poll choices, to keep the subreddit organized while still making it easy for collectors, especially newer ones, to get help. That thread will be noticeable, but you don’t have to take part in it, it’s up to you if you want to help out, or stick to the main sub feed, question will get answered eventually either way.

**Sealed Product Authentication**
Questions about whether sealed products are resealed will move to a **Weekly Authentication Megathread**.
It will:

Go live every **Friday**
Stay pinned in Community Highlights
Refresh weekly
Link to our Wiki and authentication guides

Automod will redirect new sealed authentication posts to the current thread.

**“Is My Card Fake?” Posts**
These will **stay on the main feed** for now.

Card authentication is often more nuanced than sealed products, and the current flair system works well.
Automoderator will also point users to **r/IsMyPokemonCardFake** for anyone wanting additional opinions.

**Sealed Collection Posts**
If you’re showing off **modern sealed products**, we’d appreciate seeing the pulls as well.

A small reminder will be added to Collection/Flexing posts encouraging users to share what was inside.
(Older sealed collections and long-term displays are still welcome, but modern products 10YO or newer should be about to be ripped if you are posting Bundles / Boxes / ETB’s and the like)

**Community Wiki**
We’re building a more comprehensive Wiki covering topics like:

Card & sealed authentication across different languages
Factory seals
Card care & storage
Collecting basics
TCG terminology
Rarities & print variations
Set information
Recommended / Vetted tools & apps

Have a guide you’d like to see or something need to be updated? Let us know!

🔥**Monthly Community Campfir**e🔥

We’ll also be launching a monthly discussion thread for:

Feedback & suggestions
Questions for the mod team
Community discussion
Housekeeping & announcements

If there’s enough interest, we’d also like to try things like implementing:

Trivia nights
Giveaways
Pull of the Week
Binder Page of the Week
Collector Spotlights
Score of the Week

**Why?**
Sealed authentication posts have become one of the most common topics on the subreddit. Moving them into one easy-to-find thread keeps the front page more varied **without making those questions any harder to ask.**

Our goal isn’t to discourage questions, it’s to make them easier to find, easier to answer, and easier to build resources around.

These changes will roll out gradually, and we’ll continue listening to community feedback along the way.

**Thanks again to everyone who voted and left feedback. The poll mattered, but the discussion afterward mattered just as much.** Several of these changes came directly from your suggestions, and we appreciate everyone who helped shape the future of **r/pokemoncardcollectors**.
