Is anyone else struggling with Season 4? (Spoilers up to episode 7)
I’ve enjoyed Sullivan’s Crossing from the start, even though it’s always been a bit cheesy. Seasons 1 and 2 felt like they were about the whole community, not just Maggie’s love life.
Season 4 just feels like a completely different show. Since Sully left, it feels like everything revolves around Maggie, Cal and Liam, and I’m honestly not that invested in their relationship.
I miss the other characters. Where is Lola? What happened to Frank and Edna’s storylines? They used to feel like such a big part of the heart of the show, but now everyone else feels pushed into the background. Have Frank and Edna done anything this season other than show up to say they can’t live without each other over and over
Is anyone else feeling the same, or am I missing something? I’m really hoping the writers recognise this is not going in the right direction and get back to the community feel
