Fruit-monster led weaning
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had advice about a baby who could just survive on fruit.
We offer a ‘meal’ (usually a modified version of what we’re eating) twice a day, then we follow with a portion of fruit. Initially baby would eat anything with gusto, now he seems to refuse most things until I stop offering (I don’t want to force him) but go absolutely nuts for the fruit at the end of the meal.
Are we raising a sweet-toothed child? Is this bad? Should I stop offering fruit twice a day? Fruit is excellent for you, of course, but i worry we’re shaping his palate too much in favour of sweetness. Thoughts from more knowledgeable peeps?
