The game's issues are definetly wrecking the community at the moment, so I wanted to make this post to just help clear things out based on what was already put out.

***Summary of the Issue (why did this all happen in the first place?)***

The root issue stems from the database migration they did, which was done to ensure a smooth gaming environment for players. The massive wave of players likely overloaded the new system, which caused the issues. While the team immediately contacted the database provider regarding issues, they have yet to get proper solutions for the problem.

The developers tried to implement their own alternative technical solution on the issue, but it wasn't good enough. In attempt to get the game back and running, they abandoned the new database they migrated to and revert to the old one. This process will take a long time for them to ensure every player's data is transferred safely, hence the longer delay.

***So is this SUNCYAN's fault? (should we be mad at them?)***

While the unexpected issue all came from an outside source, the indie company still takes full responsibility for the issues. It's important to know that while they are responsible with the whole database migration choice, the hot fixes, and compensation, the database faliure was something out of their control.

Instead of blindly being angry toward SUNCYAN for the repeating update delays, I encourage the community to give them a little bit more credit and be more open minded.
