Logistics help
Hello! I just skipped my whole third trimester after surprise birth at 27 weeks. Everyone is okay, I just thought I’d have more time to research these things, haha. Upon giving birth, I quickly realized how demanding pumping is! I pump at home and able to pump at the NICU when I’m with my baby, but…
My question to you is, how do you go about your normal life in 2-3 hour bursts? What about, say, you go out to dinner, or you go see a movie (that’s not as long as the Odyssey??)? When you’re out, where are you pumping? How do you store milk when you’re out? Do you have a portable pump you like?
I live in a big city and commutes to places can take up to an hour, and I don’t wanna develop mastitis because I didn’t plan my pumps well going about my day.
Any advice is welcome, thank you!
