This is Why No Cooking in Dorms
Ngl, sometimes I missed cooking when living in the dorms. But I mean like, it fucking....makes sense that there isn't a kitchen in every room or floor.
My neighbor from downstairs was cooking for an awful date with her boyfriend. Anytime she cooks chicken, fish, or eggs, she stinks up the whole place.
It's like all it takes is one person to stink and ruin it for everyone. I went to Fox theatre to see a movie late night on my own over the weekend. This slobby guy 3 rows down farted and people were moving away. Within a couple of minutes, it stank up the entire theatre.
At De Neve, there was this dude who would show up in sunglasses inside all the time. Keep in mind, this was at dinnertime. Maybe he had physical sensitivity to light. Not sure. But what threw me off was when I saw hin wearing a silk robe.
On a more pleasant side, there was thus huge guy who would go in excited and happy all the time. His positive vibe was for the food but the joy affected folks around him. He boosted the morale. When he'd see some familiar faces he barely knew, he'd raise his hand to wave or air-fist-bump us while his plates were full and chewing. I called him the food porno guy. He'd get all giddy and there was a dance in his trip to and from the table. He'd dance in his chair while having dessert to the music sometimes. I wish he was my classmate in every lecture.
There's trade-offs to everything. But if kitchens existed on every floor in the dorms, iIwouldn't have bumped into some interesting people.
