So many seeds

Hey everyone, I just finished the lakes stage (yes, I’m one of you, iykyk). Wondering why there is SO MANY freaking seeds for flowers and food scattered around everywhere.

I’ve been saving them and now have almost 10 cabinets full and I’m wondering if I REALLY need them later on? Thanks
