New tires - options: 205/45/R17, 205/40/R17 or 215/45/R17?

Hi, so I was looking at new tire options for an ND1 that will see trackdays with lots of elevation changes, was looking to try Nakang NSR-2 initially and see how those feel. But I'm a bit undecided at the moment regarding size. Would 205/40 be a good option to reduce rubbing, since car is lowered? Would wider 215 rub more? Should I go for standard dimensions? What's your thoughts and experiences on this?
