Native American Showing as Asian

Hello everyone. I am actually awaiting my ancestry dna results but I am curious to solve a family mystery. I was born in Minnesota. Both my parents took tests and my father got 100% European and remembered his login info while my mother took hers ten years ago or so and got European with a small percentage of East Asian. She doesn’t remember her account information so she can’t see if it has updated since she took it. Is it likely that a small amount of Dakota admixture read as East Asian on her test ten years ago or is there some unknown ancestor from Asia. My grandfather claimed we had Dakota heritage but I know that’s often not true for white Americans. Excited to see my results.
