Bike Shop Etiquette

I made a post about what bike size to get and a lot of people suggested I go to a shop and try it out. I originally didn’t wanna do that because I’ve heard it’s a bad look to go to a shop just to try out bikes and not buy anything. I’m looking at a particular bike and found some deals on Facebook marketplace so I’m not sure if I’m “allowed” to try bikes without the intention of buying one. I plan on buying a lot of accessories from the bike shop if that counts for anything.
