Cannot get mods that alter Appearance to work.

I'm playing on gamepass version, and I've been able to get every other type of mod to work except alterations to how character or pals look.

Tried vortex, and manually placing the .pak file into the correct folder.

Content/paks

Or content/paks/~mods

Or content paks/logic mods in UE4SS

No where i put the darn mods works.

Anyone have any fix? My friend on gamepass version is able to vortex the same appearance mods I'm trying and his works just fine.
