Anyone using Cigna health insurance in Hamburg?

Hi everyone,

I relocated to Hamburg for work and I'm still getting familiar with the German healthcare system.

My employer, an international organization, provides me with Cigna health insurance, but when I search their provider directory, there don't seem to be many doctors or clinics listed near where I live. I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding how it works or if the network is just limited.

Is anyone here using Cigna in Hamburg (or elsewhere in Germany)? How has your experience been? Do you typically need to visit doctors within their network, or can you see any doctor and submit the bill for reimbursement? Have you had any issues finding English-speaking doctors (I'm starting to learn German) or getting claims approved?

I'd really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thanks!
