Keyboard layout keeps switching back to old style in certain apps

I used to have the updated version of the keyboard across all apps. a few days ago, it changed and reverted to the older layout on specific apps only

For example, apps like reddit, chrome, instagram display the newer keyboard layout, but messenger and discord show the old version.

How can i fix this so all the apps use the updated keyboard??
