Real Estate Agents & ISA: What actually happens when a new lead comes in?
I'm trying to understand how real estate teams in the U.S. handle inbound leads in the real world. Most YouTube videos and blogs oversimplify the process, so I'd love to hear from people who actually do this every day.
Let's say a new lead comes from:
- Facebook Lead Ads
- Zillow
- Realtor
- Your website
What happens next?
Some questions I'm curious about:
- Who receives the lead first ISA, agent, admin, CRM, etc?
- What software/CRM do you use?
- What's the first thing you do after receiving the lead?
- Do you text first, call first, or email first? Why?
- What information do you try to collect before scheduling an appointment?
- If the lead doesn't reply, what does your follow-up process look like?
- How do you decide whether a lead is "qualified"?
- What are the biggest frustrations or bottlenecks in your current lead-handling process?
- If you could improve or automate one repetitive part of this process, what would it be?
I just want to understand how successful real estate teams actually work behind the scenes. The more detailed your explanation, the more helpful it will be.
Thanks in advance!
