I'm a 43 yo dad and nerd, divorcing, looking for my partner. This profile hasn't changed in the last ?four? weeks. I get, on average, an unsolicited like every two weeks (always from people whom I'm not interested in) and about a match a week.

My match note specifies that I'm divorcing, there's no animosity, and we're capable co-parents.

I love to create, design, build, game, learn, and make the world better in little and big ways every day. I'm an established, emotionally mature, liberal; much of my time is dedicated to parenting, but I set aside time for fun, learning, and volunteering. I keep myself physically healthy with exercise and eating right.

It sounds egotistical, but I need a partner who is at least as competent / intelligent as me; I don't like being solely responsible for growth, winning every game, and having to bite my tongue when someone says something that is disprovable via a 5 second Google query.

I'm specifically looking for someone who:

\* loves games

\* loves learning

\* communicates well

\* is healthy like me and is intentional in staying that way

Basically, I'm looking for someone who can kick my ass!

Photo tags and prompts:

\* (Black glasses) The moment I knew my modeling career was over: Tell me, honestly, do these glasses make me look (three letter word for heavy)?

\* (Bookshelves) Plandid or candid?: I've heard a great many say that House of Leaves is scary. I'm unimpressed. Also, GNU sir TP.

\* (Bow tie) Who wore it better?: I love a good bow tie. I like the way they look when I get all fancy.

\* (Lake) Me in the wild: Geez, you'd think I have kids, or something.

\* (Bunny ears) My life behind the scenes: My daughter decided I looked better with bunny ears.

\* (Pumpkin) A special talent of mine: Every year for Halloween I get to carve a pumpkin; if you've seen this movie you're my new friend.

Video prompt: Me throwing on a wheel with an audio track; it uses music from a music creation game with a voice-over and videos from my favorite games flying through: Something that's special to me. "So, what defines you? In my time I've been many places, I've seen many things, I've met many people, and I've learned much about myself. I take joy in creating, exploring, and learning something new. Often I learn how not to do something. Often I learn from my mistakes." (Video closes with me smashing the pot I made.)

Audio prompt: Let's make sure we're on the same page: "Politics is ok to talk about. But if you're discussing politics you also need to be talking about kindness and consideration and compassion. Because if we are in politics we're looking out for the people around us and the people around us deserve to be cared about even if they're not us, even if they're not like us, even if they don't look like us or think like us, everyone deserves kindness."
