Program Manager III role in Hyderabad

I am currently working for a consulting firm(tier 2) and have been offered a role for the program manager III in Amazon.
All I know about the role is that it is for the US business. Please suggest if it is a good role and if the internal transfers are possible from this unit to the other units and what is the range of compensation I should expect.
