PM Vidyalaxmi Interest Subsidy not received yet.

Hi everyone,

I took an education loan under the PM Vidyalaxmi interest subsidy scheme.

On my PM Vidyalaxmi portal, I can see the following:

• Financial Year: 2024-25
• Loan Disbursed: ₹1,91,000
• Interest Charged: ₹9,424
• Net Subsidy: ₹9,424
• Uploaded Date: 27-Feb-2026

However, the Payment Status and Payment Date fields are still blank, and I haven't received the subsidy yet.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone faced the same issue?
2. How long did it take after the "Uploaded Date" for the subsidy to actually be credited?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I mailed "hogps@canarabankdotcom" and got this reply..

The interest subsidy pertaining to loan acc no: 162xxxxxxxxx  has been claimed on 27/02/2026 for FY 2024-2025. The subsidy payment for this account will be initiated through PM Vidyalaxmi Digital Rupee App subject to approval by the Ministry, thereafter the corresponding funds are received and successful beneficiary updation is done. We are still awaiting for the funds. You'll receive a notification to download the PM Vidyalaxmi App after approval of the claim, then only you will be able to activate the app.
