My (F24) boyfriend (M30) doesn't want to move in with me
We've been together for three years and living in the same city for two. I always gave for granted that we would eventually move in together at some point.
When I first opened the conversation (a year ago more or less) he said that he did not see it as a default option, which hurt me but we decided on leaving the conversation for another time and that he would consider it if it's important to me.
The thing is also that I often do sleepovers at his place because I can't host (and looking for a new place is kinda risky in my city - I was lucky to find the room I have now). I reopened the conversation because I noticed that I am building up resentment because of this: I always have to go to his place, I have to plan what I'm going to take with me (plus clothes and what not), I often end up forgetting things around and I sometimes think things would generally be easier if we had a shared space.
He said it would be ok but is not sold on the idea: I'm the only one looking for apartments and generally he doesn't seem convinced. I don't want him to do this for me, I want him to do it because he wants to. But how can I cope with the fact that he clearly does not want to? How do you grow in a relationship without a space place when you're so young? Do you have any advice on what could help us deal with this situation constructively?
