Coach of the year messed up again

For Context: I am the head coach at Nebraska and have a 54-3 record in my four years and have won back to back national championships and I am well on my way to a third.

I have not cracked the top 12 coaches in all 4 seasons that I have been at Nebraska. Ryan Day won the first 3 years and finished 5th in the voting this year… and he was just fired. I get not winning every year but my OC and DC are winning Assistant COTY and Nebraska is an NIL machine and I have top 5 recruiting classes, so I am doing something right. It has to be one of the worst-coded awards in the game.
