Can I use opioids to help with jitters on stimulants?

I need some kind of opiate to reduce jitters from stims, is it ok to use it that way overall? I don't use opiates in general but I like opioids but I also need stims to function so I'm kind of fucked on two fronts. I can try lyrica if it's safer.

I have tianeptine but I heard it's super fiendish, I'd ideally want to try something longer lasting.
