So how do you change model paths in the new ComfyUI desktop?

Many thanks Comfy for forcing me to upgrade to your "new" desktop solution, so that you can promote comfy Cloud to me.
Many-er thanks for not copying over my configuration, I mean, who'd want that, right?

Many-est thanks for writing advice https://github.com/Comfy-Org/desktop/issues/1736 that quite literally does nothing, Comfy Desktop doesn't even look at those paths at all, they don't even appear in the startup logs.

So how do I do it?
