Question about XC2 expansion pack

Recently finished XC DE switch 2 edition, and ready to start XC2 with the switch 2 edition out. Is the expansion pack worth it? It sounds like whether you play Torna before or after is up for date. What about the rest of the DLC, are these useful for making the first playthrough a bit easier?
