2002 is one of the best years for goth/futurepop

As I was going through my CDs I was actually surprised by how many albums came out in 2002. It actually makes sense wince it was shortly after I finished high school that I really got into "darker" music

Here are some albums that came out that year. not all strictly "goth" or "futurepop" but I would say music listened by goths.

The Frozen Autumn - Emotional Screening Device

The Shroud - In the Garden

Fields of the Nephilim - Fallen

Deine Lakaien - White Lies

Icon of Coil - Soul is in the Software

Rasputina - Cabin Fever

Assemblage 23 - Defiance

Cruxshadows - Wishfire

Projekt: Gothic compilation

KMFDM - Attak

Audra - Going to the Theatre

VNV Nation - Futureperfect

Apotygma Berserk - Harmonizer

Diary of Dreams - Freak Perfume

Covenant - Northern Lights

Black Tape for a Blue Girl - The Scavenger Bride

The Birthday Massacre - Nothing and Nowhere

I would argue it is probably one of the important years for goth and rock.

Also some important Gothic metal albums came out that year

Lacuna Coil - Comalies

Paradise Lost - Symbol of Life

Tiamat - Judas Christ
