I broke my leg so bad that both bones broke and my tibia popped out through my leg. AMA

Additional info:
- I’m 34 and this was my first broken bone.
- I was so far from home, literally the other side of the world.
- On scene I was given gas, morphine, 2 x green whistles, fentanyl and none of it worked so they gave me ketamine (what a trip).
- I was astonished that after all of those meds, I was still in pain! It was now manageable and they could finally move me but the pain wasn’t completely gone.
