back zipper sleeveless springsuit

Hi i want to get a sleeveless springsuit and in large i have a choice between the patagonia regulator lite shoulder entry with velcro or the xcel axis with a back zipper.
i will be surfing heavy waves in uluwatu so im asking your opinion which is gonna be more secure and open if i wipeout:)
