Hey everyone,

I just finished my IB Diploma and wanted to share my full PrepSeven experience because I searched a lot for “prepseven reviews” before joining and found mixed info.

How I found them and first contact with Shankar

I was struggling in DP1 with Math AA HL and Physics HL. A friend mentioned PrepSeven. I messaged them and spoke directly with Shankar (the owner). He was patient, asked detailed questions about my current grades, weak topics, and goals, and didn’t push a big package immediately. He arranged a free demo with a subject tutor first. That transparency made my parents comfortable.

Subject-specific experts made the real difference

The tutors were clearly IB-focused (not generic). My Math tutor broke down command terms and markband expectations in a way my school teachers never did. Same for Physics – we practiced past-paper style questions with examiner-style feedback every session.

IA and EE support

They also guided me on my Physics IA structure and helped me refine the research question for my EE without writing it for me. The feedback was criteria-based and very practical.

Results

Went from predicted 5s/6s to final 41 points. The biggest change was understanding how examiners actually mark, not just “studying harder.”
