The battle: culture vs religion
I have never posted anything before, but I felt like I should share my opinion and perspective with the world. I hope that you can see what I mean, or at least think about it.
People of today hardly ever know the difference between culture and religion. The reason that I say what I say and do what I do is because I know the difference. There are people who use the norm of their culture in the religion and forget the real moral of the story (Islam). They will use cultural standards as a way to make you believe them, that’s why I say in the Islam, don’t listen to everyone. Everyone is lying about the Islam, even I. Because Islam is about the journey of life and I can not dictate for you how you live and interpret, I can tell you what I think is haram, but that can be different from your perspective. In the Muslim community you have a lot of hidden judgement because of the norm. We were taught to forgive and never judge, but as soon as it doesn’t fit in your taste or isn’t something you should do, you judge, and take the words of Allah with you and try to hypnotize people with self-chosen verses and lines that only fit their perspective or their benefit.
