Vanilla Backport on 1.21.11?

I’m currently playing on a world that’s in 1.21.11 and heavily modded. While I have the baby animals textures enabled, I’d love to get the sulfur cubes update, but the only Modrinth backport I can find fully with them is Vanilla Backport. Unfortunately, the latest version is on 1.21.1, but I’m curious if it could still possibly work on my 1.21.11 world? And if not, are there any alternatives for backports?
