My fiance coming out as bi is (close to) the best thing to happen to our relationship

I met my fiance through an after work "happy hour" for new hires. Shortly afterwards I told myself that he's gonna be my best friend. I have no idea how I was so sure so quickly but it obviously meant something. When we met, and for the past 4 years, we've been a pretty stereotypical black cat gf & golden retriever bf trope. I learn all the girls my fiance had dated previously (and including me) were all bi, and slightly androgynous (not masculine but not too feminine either). I also learn he gets very flirty with men when drunk, and we establish a monogamish relationship where we're allowed to flirt with members of the same sex (usually when we're together too, like flirt as a couple with another couple).

I explore my self expression and identity throughout our relationship. I often come out about things less than normal, or less than straight, etc, and he's just so okay with it. Like I decided I didn't want kids anymore, gave him every opportunity to leave over it bc I knew they were important of him, and he says "no I was starting to feel the same way" and says he's shocked at how apathetic he is about it. I start getting more alternative, getting tattoos, going to rock concerts and festivals, etc. He's incredibly supportive, very into it, and having a good time but struggling internally with shame/fear and does not explore his own self expression. Especially bc of how his family is... It becomes a running joke among family or friends, that I'm so alternative and expressive and whatnot and then he's "... Just John".

We get engaged. We start really planning out our life and our future. I start stressing out. Wondering if I'm too alternative for him. If I'm too "gay" for him. If I'm depriving him of a future by not wanting kids. Etc. I start to ask him these questions and we both do a lot of soul searching.

I could tell he was putting a wall up. Stopped being as vulnerable with me. We talk about it, we both get psychiatrists and therapists, and we start to work through it... He hits a low point, really breaks down and freaks out to the point where we consider taking a break or postponing the wedding. A few days later he wakes me up and just spills everything. He comes out as bisexual. He wants to dye his hair, get piercings, dress more alternatively, etc. He also doesn't like "straight" or basic sex. What his gay awakening was. Etc. That's why he always dated bi women! That's why he wanted someone alternative! That's why he got gay when he got drunk! That's why he didn't mind that I never shaved, didn't like penetration, didn't want kids, etc.

Now, we've never been closer and more open and more vulnerable with each other. It's incredible. I just want to melt into him. Idk how else to describe it, I trust him and feel so safe and secure and loved and accepted and just everything. I'm so fucking excited to not be in a black cat golden retriever trope. I'm so fucking excited to be in a queer relationship. It feels so true and authentic. We just click even more than we already did. And I'm so fucking happy to be going into the wedding like this, fully our true selves, just completely open and accepted.
