Multitasking issue BGMI

Guys, I have been facing an issue in my CMF phone 2 pro, since starting. Whenever I play BGMI on this device & if by any chance I open any other application eg: WhatsApp & go back to the game, it starts from the begining. Why so? All other application are good to Go in multitasking but just this one. Any ideas how to resolve it? Multitasking with BGMI was good enough in my older phone - redmi note 7s not this one? 🥺
