Passed up for promotion. Thoughts on ending everything.

I was basically told that even though I have the most tenure and experience, I was passed up for promotion. I’m incredibly suicidal as I don’t take rejection good, but what hurts the most is that I stepped up to do the job so less fell through the cracks. I guess I’m just doomed to work in the same place for 3 years and be seen as not worthy.
All the work I put in everyday. Trying to communicate with other departments to keep the one I worked afloat.

I’m embarrassed for thinking I’d ever be good enough. I’m upset that it was given to someone who hadn’t worked that department in a year. I’m thinking about killing myself because I won’t be getting a pay raise and I’m going to be seen as a fucking joke.
