Any tips on building a great economics CV while at college?

So, I'm a second year DU student in North Campus, and I'm looking for an economics CV that lands me summer analyst internships. I've researched that they are really tough to get into and their competition is really high. I'd consider my current CV underdeveloped, hence, any suggestions on what all I can take on, and add to my CV? It could be anything specific or generic like internships, courses, competitions, etc.

PS: Also feel free to drop any company names that I can apply for internships at.
