Detect sentence position

Is there a way to have the insertion method detect where in the sentence it's placed?

For example, when I start typing a sentence myself and then use vowen o complete it, it will add a capitalized letter at the beginning of where I started using it, and It will end up being in the middle of the sentence.

Is there a way for it to detect that I've already been typing a sentence when I start Transcribing?

It will also sometimes place a space at the beginning of new transcriptions.
