Swedish first hill ER

Hi everyone! I’ll be moving to Seattle soon and starting a new position in the Emergency Department at Swedish First Hill. I’m excited about the opportunity, but also a little nervous since it will be a big transition for me.

For anyone who currently works there or has worked there before, how would you describe the culture and overall work experience? I’d especially appreciate any insight into the ER team, leadership, teamwork, staffing, and how supportive the department is toward new employees.

Also, does anyone have advice on where employees usually park, especially for night shift? Are there safer or more affordable parking options nearby, or any employee parking arrangements I should know about?

Any honest experiences, practical tips, or things you wish you had known before starting would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
