Early release from project?

Hi everyone,

I have a serious medical condition, and my doctor has advised me to avoid night shifts. My current project requires rotational/night shifts, and it's becoming difficult for me to continue. I have medical documents to support my condition.

I'm planning to request a project release so I can be allocated to another project that has only day shifts.

Has anyone been released from a project on medical grounds before the normal release timeline? What was the process, and was the request approved?
