Vasectomies as a form of BC

Rant!

I’m actually just curious about this (not sexually active but curious for the future). I do not like taking medications and do NOT ever ever ever want to take birth control. No pills, no cyborg IUD implants, no plan B pills or more foreign objects/drugs in my body. (Honestly just hate women’s options because they sayyy they’re ‘safe’ but then it has a freaking risk list the size of a tablecloth!!) Also I’m really just not one to want medications- I guess you could say I’m a little ‘crunchy’ lmao. The only meds I take are ADHD because it was literally ruining my life and I have other MH conditions I could be on meds for that I refuse because I don’t think it’s worth it. Oh and obviously vaccinations because I’m not an idiot.

Anyway back on topic- I’d obviously use condoms and pullout (but some people say that’s not enough even tougher). I am 90% sure I don’t ever want kids but I don’t want to get tubes tied because A) I’m not 100% B) I’m very young C) it’s irreversible! I wish I could get a female reversible vasectomy but as far as I know that doesn’t exist.

This being said- would it be considered extremely if I were to get a long term parented and ask them to get a vasectomy? I would get one 100% if I was a man lol. I’m pro-choice too but ofc if condoms aren’t guaranteed but obviously I’d never want to be in the position here I’d have to have an abortion because it’s a traumatic thing on the body. I don’t think a vasectomy is a big deal especially since it’s reversible and people my age (19) wouldn’t want to have kids anytime soon either so they get more use out of it if my (hypothetical partner) and I ever broke up. Also I just feel like if a guy wants to do it that bad why tf should I drug myself and risk/mess up my body when he can just go easily get the snip? What do you guys think?
