Why it isn’t Chizuru’s fault

So I have been seeing some chatter on here by people saying that Chizuru is mostly to blame for all this. Personally, I think that is total nonsense and I will explain it here. Yes she has some issues but the overall blame is not on her.

I wanna start with the issues I have with Chizuru as a character. The first being that she takes herself WAY too seriously, especially her job. She thinks that the agency she works for is tracking her activity or has secret spies watching her.

Sweetheart, you are a diamond tier rental lol. You make them so much money they don’t care what you do on the side. I mean we have gone how many chapters of this manga and we haven’t even seen her boss. Nor have we seen any other rentals besides Sumi or Ruka.

Chizuru is a hot 20-21 year old girl, so of course guys are gonna be attracted to her. That’s why she gets a lot of clients, and why everyone stares at her. I think she just has to accept that, all those ideals she has about clients are full of crap.

Then her acting career, this is my biggest problem with Chizuru. Before Kazuya shot the movie for her, Chizuru’s acting career was going nowhere. It’s better now cuz of the movie and Chizuru has to acknowledge that. Her taking classes and or acting religiously hasn’t been working and this is a very tough business.

So, with what she said to Kazuya about how she isn’t ready for a relationship is full of crap. She wants to be with him but she isn’t ready to accept that her dream as an actress may not be able to come true. But that is life, not all of our dreams come true and it’s scary.

Which rolls into why I can’t blame Chizuru for all of this. Chizuru is a 20-21 year old girl navigating life all on her own. All she had was her grandma and now that she is gone it is just her. She is afraid that people like Kazuya and Mini will leave her as well.

Kazuya can still barely hold a conversation with her, so she is still unaware if he really loves her or if he just wants to be with her cuz she is hot. She isn’t sure if she trusts Nagomi because she just feels Nagomi is obsessed with her cuz she is the first girl Kazuya brought home.

I also can’t blame her for all of this because she was adamant from the start that what she was doing for Kazuya was a favor and business. She told him straight up that she could keep renting him, she is doing a service. It was up to Kazuya to end it but he never did.

That money is needed for her especially now because she is all alone. I think the blame should go more to Ruka, Mami and Nagomi because when you really think about it they started all this. Moreover, they are the reason why things have gone out of control.

Ruka blackmailed Kazuya into going out with her, I don’t understand why this is so hard to understand. Kazuya never asked her out and has told her multiple times that he likes Chizuru and not her. It is not Chizuru’s fault that Ruka can’t accept the truth and let things go. If anything Ruka is to blame for making things even more complicated.

Then Mami, she is only mad because Kazuya hasn’t thought about her a day since he met Chizuru. I mean I get it, your ex that you dumped likes being with a rental more than you. It must hurt your pride and ego but you were dating someone else before they met, you can’t be mad. Mami needs to mind her business, Chizuru isn’t to blame for any of that at all.

Finally Nagomi, what an overgrown child this woman is. While I agree that Chizuru could have avoided this mess by not going to Kazuya’s apartment all that while ago, Nagomi needs to stop being so demanding. So your grandson isn’t dating anyone, big deal he is twenty and has his whole life ahead of him.

Nagomi knows that Kazuya is a pushover and easily influenced, so she kept gushing over Chizuru and putting her on a pedestal. This way Kazuya wouldn’t dare break up with Chizuru, he couldn’t handle the backlash. Chizuru still does her job, it isn’t her fault that Kazuya can’t stand up to his grandma or his family.

Do you guys see where I am coming from? I know she has some issues but Chizuru is not to blame for things getting so complicated and going haywire. I still think she and Kazuya will end up together but he has to show her he is serious.

Chizuru still thinks Kazuya is not sure because he still can barely hold conversations with her, hasn’t ended things with Ruka, and is ok with being number 2 to her career. This could have been all said and done if he went back to her apartment after they kissed and they had a conversation.

Anyway I’m done ranting, what are your thoughts?
