What's Your 3am HR Worry?

Work-Life Balance and Stress Management

Anyone else get hit with this? Not the big HR fires, the quiet 3am ones. You're lying there and out of nowhere it's "wait... did I actually classify that hire right?"

Nobody tells you this is part of the job when you're the one wearing the HR hat at a small company. It's never the dramatic stuff that keeps you up. It's the "I'm probably fine but what if I'm not" stuff. Classification, overtime rules, whether that PTO policy is actually compliant in every state you have someone working from.

Curious if this is a universal small-business-HR experience or if it's just me lol. How do you all deal with the constant low-level "did I miss something" feeling?
