Is it possible to switch from Engineering to Computing after admission?

I had a question regarding changing majors at FAST.

If I get admitted to an engineering program (for example, Electrical Engineering), is it possible to transfer later to a computing program like Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or Data Science?

If it is allowed:

Is it possible after the first semester or first year?

What are the requirements (GPA, available seats, etc.)?

Is the transfer guaranteed if you meet the requirements, or is it competitive?

Has anyone here successfully switched from Engineering to Computing?
