Accidentally linked the wrong WoT accounts through Steam – any WG staff here who could take a look?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone from Wargaming might see this or perhaps point me in the right direction.

Earlier today I accidentally linked the wrong World of Tanks account during the Steam linking process. I was simply trying to let my young son play WoT on a second (vacation) laptop through Steam, but the linking flow was confusing and I didn't realize the action was permanent.

I opened a support ticket immediately after discovering the mistake, but I received a reply saying that account linking can only be undone in hacking cases.

This wasn't an attempt to transfer, sell, share or exploit any account. It was simply an honest mistake involving two accounts belonging to members of my immediate family.

I'm not asking anyone here to bypass the rules. I'm only hoping that someone from WG could review the case, or ask me for my ticket number if there's any possibility of a manual review or escalation.

Has anyone ever had a similar situation, or is there a WG employee here who could take a look?
