Learning progression in C++

So I've been learning C++ from learncpp.com . Currently completed chapter 2, i'm feeling i've been learning too theoretical and it's demotivating since i don't feel i'm doing any progression.

Is it normal to feel like this?

Extra info - it took me about 2 weeks with approx 2 hrs a day
