Seems like nowadays people want to be mentally ill or label others mentally ill
Anyone ever hospitalized with people who think it’s trendy or quirky to have a mental illness? Almost mocking real patients and real struggles in group therapy, putting on a dramatic show. I learned being hospitalized to not judge someone or their situation, unless it’s blatantly obvious or they tell you there is more to the situation. Which also causes a rift between patients, who are supposed to ally together but can’t always due to these type of ”patients”
And then you have the people that love to label you who got in this profession just to seem important. They can’t be mentally ill if they are the professional and you’re the patient. Apparently that doesn’t coexist. Even though they are more dangerous than their counterpart patients. It seems like mental health is the thing recently, taking away from real people who suffer and have suffered at the hands of these so called professionals, the system and the institutions.
