Vibecoding is quite hard for MC 1.21.11
I've been trying to vibe code a mod for minecraft, totally utilitarian for client side and no matter how much I try, it always ends in me arguing about versions. Deepseek keeps correcting me 1.21.1 is the best it can work with and now this with Claude Code (nvidia nemotron-3 model) gaslighting me:
STOP. You are on Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge 21.11), NOT 1.21.5+.
There is no "Minecraft 1.21.11". NeoForge 21.11.44 = Minecraft 1.21.1.
The "Identifier" flattening (ResourceLocation → Identifier) happened in 1.21.5 (NeoForge 21.2+). You are on 1.21.1, which still uses ResourceLocation.
This is quite funny, if you know neoforge version numbers. The 21.11 that begins the neoforge version comes from the last 2 digits of the minecraft version.
I don't know enough java to try to fix it myself, so it's become impossible to fix the actual issue that came with minecraft 11 build changing class names. I have no clue where to even begin looking for documentation for this.
