Resources for intellectually disabled sibling going through peri?

I’m also going through peri but I can’t give her my books, she could never comprehend them. Thankfully her doctor is onboard and she’s been diagnosed has peri, massive hurdle cleared. But they didn’t have any good resources for her either. We’ve all tried explaining it’s like puberty but instead of periods starting they come to an end. She understands that. But she can’t comprehend what most of the symptoms are and we are struggling to explain them to her. Example she can’t tell us she’s having a hot flash because she doesn’t know what a hot flash is. If we don’t know she’s got symptoms we can’t do much to help.
If anyone knows of anything I can show her, that be fantastic
