Appointment news: Update on lower back

Hello everyone! Well I am back to post an update on my ongoing lower back pain, and also burning thighs. I still have all the symptoms including numbness, and my legs locking up. It is very difficult to stand or sit for too long. I went to go see my neurosurgeon, which he believes it could be a L3-L4 problem. He is also going to look for herniated discs, spinal stenosis, tethered cord, and or any other abnormalities that could be causing my pain. My MRI is in early August which is only a week away. I do still have a small syrinx located in my C6-C8. My MRI will be for the lumber back. If they can’t find anything I am going to have a nerve study test, as a worse case scenario(which would also be a good thing as well, to make sure it isn’t neuropathy). He is also looking for sciatica as well! Just thought I would give a semi update for anyone going through anything similar.
