Is polyester/viscose suit going to be fine for a single use.

Hello. I've been steadily losing weight, still a bit to go, but I have a wedding to attend and need a suit. Considering that I will need to have it adjusted, and I'll never wear it again after that wedding is polyester/viscose mix going to be fine?
